Stallion

stallion-horse

n. an uncastrated adult male horse. Unlike geldings (which have been castrated), stallions have higher levels of testosterone and other hormones, which results in a thick, strong neck and more muscular physique. While stallions may be prone to aggressive behaviour at times, especially towards other stallions, they can be tamed and trained just like any other horse.

The most powerful of horses, stallions make terrific equestrian athletes and are commonly used as race horses and for horse shows.
